Due to the growth of gang membership nationally, the Houston Multi-Agency Gang Task Force (MAGTF), as a prevention measure, has created this website to educate the public about criminal gangs and to provide a way for residents to report tips to thwart the potential threat.

This community policing initiative has been designed to help keep our neighborhoods and families safe from gangs and the related violence they bring.

about the threat of criminal gangs operating in the Houston area and provide a means for them to report criminal activity anonymously.

Assist educators and parents...
in identifying indicators of gang involvement and provide more information about prevention and intervention program services available in the Houston area.

Inform young people...
on the dangers and consequences of joining a gang, give them information on how to get out and provide a means for them to submit anonymous tips  or leads to prevent and solve gang related crimes.
